About Us

In 2017, Palma Sola will celebrate its 60th anniversary of biblical Christian worship and witness in the northwest corner of Bradenton. For over 50 of those 60 years, we have served families, children and youth through our highly respected “Palma Sola Presbyterian Preschool and SACPAC,” as well as our excellent scouting ministry (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Daisy and Girl Scouts). Because we are diverse in our worship style preferences, Palma Sola has offered a traditional worship service since its founding and contemporary worship (now called the “Dawning” service) for the past 20+ years. Our members come from all over the country, are from many different Christian denominations and range in age from 10 months to 97 years of age! The Scriptures are God’s “lamp for our feet” and so we offer “Wee Worship” and “Children’s Chapel” for our children, a youth group for mid-high and senior high youth, and Bible classes and small groups for adults.
